Our Services

Independence Association was founded in 1966 to provide basic services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Since then our organization has expanded our programs and services to better meet our mission. We serve individuals with all levels of developmental disabilities through all stages of life from childhood into senior care. Our programs have received high praise from parents, clients and state officials for their level of care and support. We are proud of our staff for their dedicated work in ensuring quality care for the individuals we serve. All of our services are supported by a philosophy dedicated to positive behavior supports and dedicated to meeting our mission. "Because of IA, our son lives as a young man who exercises his rights and desires as a fully participating member of his community. For the first time in his life through IA programs, he has a large circle of friends who support each other. We are very fortunate that Independence Association is here for our son and our community"  Beth Pfeifle, Parent.
